Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University

This university was founded in 1370 H - 1950 when His Majesty King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, Founder of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, entrusted His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia at the time, to inaugurate Riyadh Sharia Institute, which is the first cornerstone of the university.
